All achievements in Baldur's Gate 3: how to get hidden achievements (2024)

To unlock all achievements in Baldur's Gate 3, including hidden achievements, one playthrough will not be enough. To unlock most of them, it is recommended to know in advance the order of actions and the possible consequences of the choice, when decisions made in the first act affect the third.

During the game, you will encounter enemies that must be defeated in a special way, decisions that require choosing the right path, as well as hidden locations where you can find legendary items and fight bosses. In the guide we will tell you how to get all the achievements in BG3, at what stages you will be able to do this, and also give some tips on unlocking particularly difficult achievements.

How many achievements in BG3

There are a total of 54 trophies in the game: some of them are unlocked after completing story missions, and some are unlocked by killing enemies in a special way, or by performing unusual actions. You won't be able to get all the Steam achievements in Baldur's Gate 3 in one playthrough, as some are mutually exclusive, but some of these achievements are earned by simply rebooting from the last checkpoint.

If you play with mods, be prepared for your achievements to count will not. However, players have found a way to get around this - just download an additional modification Achievement Enabler, which will fix all conflicts with trophies.

Secret achievements

More than half, namely 30 achievements, hidden. Most are obtained automatically and are such that players do not catch spoilers while viewing the list of achievements, but for some you will have to perform certain actions. This Baldur's Gate 3 achievement guide will help you earn them all:

Regular Achievements

Ordinary achievements in total 24 - they do not have any spoilers for the walkthrough and basically tell you what mechanics exist in the game and how they can be applied. Some are also unlocked after finishing the main story at a certain difficulty level and a special way to kill certain mini-bosses.

You can get the usual achievements as follows:

• "Five for roleplaying" - need to earn money inspiration 10 times in one playthrough - it is awarded for almost every quest, so the achievement is completed automatically.
• "Sleeping bag and foam" - Complete 4 times in one playthrough long rest.
• “Dig from here until lunchtime” - using shovel, dig 5 chests. Such treasures are easily found by characters with a high survival level.
• "I know what you're thinking" - using a spell or scroll of mind reading, delve into the head of any character. Typically, the Detect Thoughts option appears in dialogues where you need to convince or deceive someone. The fastest way to get it is by talking to Kaga in emerald grove.
• "Lack of Perseverance" - Steal something in public in any location, for example, in the Druid Grove, and agree to go to prison. Afterwards, get out of there on your own or with the help of companions.
• "Outsourcer" - go to Withered in the camp and hire any mercenary.
• "Handyman" - when you reach level 12, hire a mercenary and with each level increase, add 1 class to him, creating multiclass of 12 specializations.
• "Moonshiner" - by using alchemy create any 3 potions.
• “Beating two in one fell swoop” - reduce the health of two small enemies, pick up one of them using the ability "Improvised Melee Weapons" and throw it at the second one so that both die. The easiest thing to do is in Act 3 - go to the Elven Song tavern, in the basemyont, and throw one rat at another.
• "Wandering Musician" — learn to play a musical instrument by choosing the appropriate skill when leveling up, either by creating a bard, or by meeting Alfira. Start the performance in a crowded place and pick up coins - you need 100 gold in total.
• "Thresher" - take to the squad Lae’zel, or any other warrior, and hit the enemy 5 times in a row. Use the “Preparation” and “Urge to Action” class skills for this.
• "Fist of Wrath" — bring the enemy to the minimum health level, remove the weapon from your hands and finish him off with your fist. Easiest to do on rats with 1 HP.
• "The Pesky Devil" — defeat Pathetic on the nautiloid in the prologue. You need to kill him yourself - if the illithid defeats the enemy, the trophy will not count.
• "Non-invasive procedure" - overcome Malusa Torma so that he does not have time to use his unique skills. The easiest way is to trick him into cutting his throat.
• "Savings in everything" - Either try to kill the Tax Collector in one turn, or convince her that her services are no longer needed. In the latter case, there will be no fight and it will explode.
• "Always look at your step" - have time to overcome Gortasha so that no trap is triggered. During the battle, ignore other enemies and focus on the boss. The easiest way is to place barrels of gunpowder around him and blow them up.
• "Hard Landing" - when you get to Ansur's lair and get to the dragon, wait for it to fly into the air and use telekinesis to move it into the abyss. You won’t receive rewards from the boss, but you will earn an achievement (then you can load the previous save).

• "Drunken brawl" — before each battle, solder one of the characters and only then start the battle. The fastest way to get the achievement is to kill rats under the Elven Song tavern as a drunken hero in Act 3.
• "Give and bring" - one night, after you tame Shkryaba, the dog will bring the character a ball - throw it and get the achievement.
• "Critical hit" - Complete the entire game in Tactics mode. Clear all of Act 1 and level up your heroes as much as possible to make future battles easier.
• "Hammer of Enemies" - Complete the entire story in Valor mode with 1 save. When you realize in battle that you are about to die, close the game and load from the last point.
